The Utah Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society, its leaders, and its members have been responsible for a remarkable renaissance is the areas of percussion education and performance at all levels throughout the state of Utah. Each year, the chapter publishes multiple newsletters and articles focused on the education of working percussionists, non-percussionist music teachers, and students at every level of experience. We are also proud to hosts an Annual Days of Percussion in the Spring and Fall which feature performances of Utah area percussion soloists & ensembles & Universities throughout the state, as well as clinics by world-renowned artists and educators.
Right now our website is under construction and we are actively working to get Day of Percussion posted. Jim White (from the University of Northern Colorado) will be adjudicating and Corey Christiansen (Guitar) and Phil Kuehn (Bass) will be accompanying the students.
Registration for solos and ensembles will begin late February and we will post an exact date very soon.
